#LeBron gets much criticism for not winning more rings. The comparison to MJ stops with rings. LeBron's numbers are pretty close. But nobody ever makes the case for LBJ. He went to the NBA finals with Zydrunas Ilgauskis as his next best player. He carried a team that would have been a 65 loss team without him. The Cavs would have been buried in the basement without LBJ. But with him they were a legitimate contender. Because he did it without all-stars. With a cast of unfamiliar role players. He made the great because of his ability. He does all the tangible things well, but even more he makes everyone better around him. No doubt that LeBron James is in the discussion of the GOAT. He is the best in the league now. But how would MJ do in today's league. 6'6" shooting guard, great defender, floor general. But would he win six rings in todays NBA?
